Mission Statement

Hanson Research is a fifty year-old “startup”. We are a company that is reinventing itself. Our humble beginnings were in the 1950s and 60s in Van Nuys, California, developing small motors for the fledgling aerospace and space industries. We then collaborated with industry, USP and FDA in prototyping the first dissolution test systems, later commercialized in the 1970s. During the 1980s and 90s we researched, developed and enhanced automated laboratory test systems for pharmaceutical quality control.

The 2000s present a unique opportunity and challenge for our industry. The requirements for improved healthcare are growing beyond cultural and economic borders worldwide. The burgeoning global population demands a continuous advance in medicine and the treatment of disease. Quality assurance and product efficacy are the harbingers of progress in this field. Drug discovery, new dosage forms and new delivery vehicles are expanding the very horizon of the life sciences.

It is the mission of Hanson Research to engage in this noble endeavor, to contribute innovative technology, services and expertise to the quality testing of pharmaceuticals, and by so doing, to help improve healthcare worldwide.
