Hanson/Waters On-Line HPLC System

The Power of Alliance Technology Harnessed for Automated Dissolution Sampling and Analysis:
The Alliance Dissolution System directly transfers samples from single or dual dissolution
baths (6 or 8 vessel) to vials housed inside the Waters 2690D Separations Module.
Integral to the 2690D Separations Module is a dissolution dispenser with 6 or 8-vessel sampling
capability that accepts sample aliquots from most dissolution baths. The 2690D Separations Module
runs dissolution methods, downloading sampling times and sample aliquot volumes to the Waters
Transfer Module. Waters Transfer Module is driven by a stepper motor, not pneumatics, enabling you
to work with surfactant-containing media. Waters Transfer Module uses a microprocessor-controlled
array of syringe pumps to take dissolution samples from 6 or 8 vessels simultaneously and transfer
the samples into vials housed in the 2690D Separations Module. Once the samples are in the vials,
the 2690D Separations Module processes the samples until it is time to accept more dissolution
samples.
When paired with a Hanson SR8-Plus Dissolution Bath, the 2690D Separations Module downloads
dissolution methods (shaft speed, bath temperature and other parameters) directly to the
SR8-Plus Bath. The Alliance Dissolution System can control and monitor the function of up to
two Hanson SR8-Plus Dissolution Baths. Using a universal stationary device, Waters Transfer
Module can take samples at programmed time intervals from other manufacturers dissolution
baths.

Water Dissolution Web Site.
